Congregational Development: Clergy In "Congregations In Transition"
Clergy in Congregations in Transition is a series of support and enrichment events to strengthen ordained ministry in parishes in transition. It is a joint effort of the Episcopal Diocese of Central Pennsylvania, and the Lower Susquehanna Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
These meetings grew out of the Beginning Ministry Together research project directed by Roy Oswald of the Alban Institute. This specialized learning community of Lutherans and Episcopalians, led buy several distinguished presenters, serves to enrich the ministry of congregations in transition. Clergy serving as interims, priests-in-charge and regularly scheduled supply are encouraged to attend.
